Hye min Park

I graduated from UIC in summer 2018 and am currently working in the United States for over one year. I am not sure when my first time was visiting Prestige, but I remember that I met my counselor in the SAT class for the summer before my sophomore year. At that time, I only knew what I wanted to do in the future; I did not know what I had to do to reach my goal. I was not sure which school was good for the major I wanted and which classes I should take in the future. Prestige helped me prepare for colleges, gave me the opportunities to look for what I really wanted to do, and guided me to make the best decision possible. It has been years after getting the consulting services from Prestige, but I am still satisfied with the result that I got from the experience.

I’m a first year student at Penn State who was with Prestige for 2 years.
The first time I visited Prestige was after my sophomore year in high school. Before I met my counselor at Prestige I did not know anything about college in America. To be honest I did not know that GPA is extremely important to get into college in America. Moreover, I didn’t know how to study for TOEFL and SAT and how to write college application essays. Nevertheless, after I met my counselor at Prestige, I was able to make my academic plans. My counselor encouraged and inspired me to work hard and she helped me a lot with working on college applications. Without Prestige, I’m pretty sure I would have not made it to the college that I wanted to go.

I have been working with Prestige Academic Consulting with Erin since my elementary school years. I feel really thankful for the consulting which was very structured. Starting last year was one of the most important time since it's junior year and junior year is one of the most important times in the college application process. The consulting program kept me on track and led me the way into getting into colleges that I wanted to go. Now I am heading onto UIUC(University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign) for 2019 Freshman year. Furthermore, the biggest aspect that helped me in consulting is that the teachers in the program are very engaged in whatever problems we have. The teachers are always prepared to mentor and guide the solutions to us on what to do and how to face our problems without any hardships.

I have just finished my first year at UIUC (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne). Before I got in contact with Prestige, I had no dreams or thoughts of going to college. However, through Erin teacher's caring heart toward her students, I straightened my head and started focusing on my academics. Because of her teaching (not only academics but also life lessons), I became successful, getting into my dream college.

I started taking TOEFL courses with Prestige in the summer after my sophomore year. I was not interested much in academics and honestly just wanted to hang out, but with the small classes and personalized education, I was able to get the care that I needed. If I had attended other schools with bigger sized classrooms, I think that I would have been influenced by that atmosphere. Also, the students and people at Prestige were all very nice and lovely.
